Phil was born in Houston and raised in the small East-Texas town of Crosby. A pilot for 45 years, he earned his pilot's license while in High School.
He graduated from Lee College in Baytown, Texas and earned a BA degree in economics from the University of Texas, Austin.
After working in the refineries along the Texas Gulf coast, Phil attended South Texas College of Law earning his law degree in 1995. He was licensed that same year and started his own firm in Houston.
After many years of city life, Phil moved to Bellville, Texas becoming a country lawyer. Now, Phil has moved to Alpine, fulfilling a long-held dream of living & practicing law in Far West Texas.
